A few passionate words on what inspires Steven’s photography… The natural world has been an inspiration to me since childhood. Growing up in northern Idaho, I was surrounded by a variety of wildlife, majestic landscapes, and a community that revered both. My fondness for raptors in particular began later into my photography career, when I began to photograph bald eagles on their seasonal migration through Idaho. A foundation of respect for these magnificent birds quickly turned into an absolute admiration. A symbol of the free spirit, a creature commanding respect.
